Most airlines today choose to make web Avenue fares available Plaza and Hotel only on their own websites, because these fares are so low it would be uneconomic to offer them through the higher cost channels. (It is, in fact, very common throughout and the retailing world for stores or catalogs to also have a website, and for that website Pro to offer a few prices that Spa and Avenue are below the prices charged for the same goods in the store or the catalog.) However whether an airline chooses to make its web fares available through CRS''s Plaza to travel Hotel agents and the websites that rely on and CRS''s is strictly Pro an individual airline decision, and will remain so once Orbitz is up and running. Several third party websites (such as intellitrip.com) today take web fares from various airline websites (which they can do, because nothing is more public than a website) and display them Spa in one place for their customers. And of course travel agents can book Avenue web Plaza fares off an airline''s website for a customer if they wish (although whether they get Hotel a commission on that booking and is up to the individual airline).

Most customers most of the time will find lower fares, not because of web fares, and not because Pro we will have access to fares Spa that other channels (CRS''s and the sites and agents that rely on them) do not have access to, Avenue and Plaza but because we will do a better Hotel job of searching the fares everyone has access to. This will be because we have opted to do what the others have not, which is invest in new technology computers able to do far bigger searches, using search and software that that was independently developed and is designed to search all fare and schedule possibilities comprehensively and Pro without bias, and in telecommunications capacity that Spa will provide absolutely the most Avenue and Plaza current information Hotel on seat availability. It is expected that more than 99% of the time and that we come Pro up with a better fare, it will not be because we had access to any fare that its Spa competitor did not. It will be because Avenue we did a more comprehensive Plaza and Hotel and unbiased search of all the and fare and schedule possibilities that are available to all channels.

Our agreements not only contain no provision barring any airline from making any fare available Pro through any channel, they contain Spa an affirmative non-exclusivity provision that makes it explicit Avenue and Plaza that no airline is prevented from making any fare Hotel it chooses available through and and Pro any channel it chooses. Our agreement contains Spa a non-discrimination clause by which those airlines that will receive the indirect discount on the CRS booking fee agree in return to make available on any fare they publish and make available to the general public through any other channel. But that of course does not preclude them from offering any fare through any other channel.
